Whether you’re outfitting flatbeds, storage boxes, toolboxes, drawer modules, decks, racks, bulkheads, or baskets, BTS allows you to optimize and standardize every component for the work you do.

At the core of every PROTECH flatbed is a floor system built to perform under real load. The standard floor is constructed with 1.25-inch interlocking tongue-and-groove extruded aluminum deck boards, supported by 5-inch zee 6061-T6 aluminum-alloy structural cross-members. This combination virtually eliminates racking and delivers a load capacity of 1,000 pounds per linear foot. If your application demands more, we’ll engineer and build to your exact target.

Strength isn’t just in the materials—it’s in how everything is assembled. All flatbed structural attachments use Huck-Clinch® aircraft-style mechanical fasteners. These aerospace-grade blind rivets meet military standards for sheet take-up and hole fill, providing superior fatigue performance and vibration resistance. Because they retain parent metal strength, they won’t loosen over time and aren’t subject to the racking or expansion and contraction cracking common in welded beds.

PROTECH flatbeds are available in any length, with most medium-duty applications ranging from 9 to 24 feet. Deck widths are typically 84, 93, and 96 inches, with extruded floor body widths available in 3-inch increments for a precise fit. Stake pockets are aligned with cross-members to maintain structural integrity and provide dependable support for side extensions and load securement.

Every detail is built with long-term use in mind. Side rails are formed from polished proprietary extrusions—not standard C-channel—and finished with TIG-welded, cleaned, and buffed corners to deliver both durability and a professional appearance that reflects the work behind it.
